Located directly across the street is Centennial Park.  It was created in 1993-94 to commemorate the centennials of opening the Cherokee Outlet in 1893 and the founding of Tonkawa in 1894.  The park boasts a beautiful gazebo and 1200 granite pavers inscribed with the names of residents from the past and present, and a granite marker honoring early settlers.
