Guest Speakers are Linda Barnett & Catherine Breyley.

Linda Barnett will present tips and strategies on how to succeed, and how to have a successful board of director, committee or group. Linda is retired from the Oklahoma Department of Commerce where she served as Director of the Oklahoma Main Street Center for 14 years and before that as the Regional Economic Development Director for 10 counties in Northwest Oklahoma.  As the State Director for Oklahoma Main Street, she served on the Board of Directors of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and as Chair of the Executive Committee for the National Main Street Center. Prior to working for Commerce, Linda was the Executive Director of Woodward Main Street and the Woodward Chamber of Commerce.  She earned awards for taking Woodward Main Street from 31 vacancies to less than 5 in two years and was named the 1997 State Chamber Executive of the Year.

Catherine Breyley has worked with Annual Tri-State Music Festival. She will present how the music festival committee completed strategic learning and developed a new strategic plan to revitalize their event. The Million Dollar Parade & music festival participation was suffering due to school budget cuts, higher travel cost, increased contest competition, and higher liability. After the strategic planning, the festival is alive and well today.
